hello Jon,

yes we have some left. If you are in the US the mailing cost surface is
$12.70 and air is $18.00. Obviously if you live in another country it's
best for us to know where you are and then we can give you cost for both
surface and mail to your location.

The book as you know for this special sale is $60 USD.

If you send us your mailing address we'll get one on it's way within 24 hours.
You can send us an international money order or if in the US you can send a
cheque,

>Good morning folks,,
>
>I imagine some of you have no idea what you gave me at 4.30 a.m.! Starting
>my day reading your comments first thing! My goodness before the sun has
>come up, you've made my day! :) I can't thank you enough.
>
>What you have given me in your assesments of "my work" is more than all the
>money I could receive.
>
>Please let me explain:
>
>The book has always received postive feed back from the medical profession,
>how it captures their daily lives, the pressures, the emotion and
>exhaustion.
>
>As one physician remarked, "In my 40 years as a physician, no one has ever
>captured what we do like you have, it makes me proud I am a physcian!"
>
>Another: "We are under such government and insurance pressure these days
>to,"fix the patient" and get them back on the street at the least cost!
>Many of us are under constant attack to cut costs, sometimes pressured to
>the detrement of the patient."
>
>Another:
>"What your book has done gives me faith in what I do is still an honourable
>profession, dedicated to the human beings entrusted to my care.."
>
>"When the day is done and I'm beat from bureaucratic frustrations of trying
>to care for my patients, I come home, pour myself a relaxing drink, turn
>the pages and let your pictures take me back to when we could truly do "our
>work" without the constant whine of costs!"
>
>These are but a few of the many from the medical profession as it's
>illustrated in he book.
>
>But the comments so far from LUG members as they receive their copies, is a
>completely different assestment: "It's about my work as a photograher!"
>
>Now we are talking about "our profession or hobby, yours and mine, not the
>medical side."
>
>In the past the few photographers who purchased, it was seen as a "medical
>book" and not a photographic book one might learn from. Now what is
>happening from LUGGER's is the photographic recognition of my ability as a
>photojournalist.
>
>So these past few days have had very emotional moments for me, as I read
>the accolades from my peers. They are my vindication to years of
>dedication to my craft, weren't invain!
>
>The heart break and pain of the publisher running off with $40,000 dollars
>of my royalties is eased by, you my peers, and your assesment of "This is
>Our Work. The Legacy of Sir William Osler."
>
>And if it weren't for the Leica tools, M & R, the unique lenses that
>allowed me to constantly shoot without "twinky light disturbance!" I know I
>wouldn't have had the success in capturinng "real life as you see it!" and
>what I was motivated by is what went on film!
>
>It doesn't matter whether one is starting out or doing it a long time, we
>all need that little "pat on the back" once in a while. It's good for the
>heart and soul when your life is dedicated to capturing images on film!
>
>Thanks folks for bearing with me and the wonderful caring comments offered!
>This LUG is truly one of a kind and the people in it are truly something
>else!
>
>Kindest regards,
>ted
