There has been a lot of talk of putting away cameras and lens because they
might be collectible at some future date and in turn be worth more.

For simplicity say some one could of puchased a MP with a 50 mm at $500.
The price for a non professional i assume. Well some 50 years later that
camera is worth from $25,000 to $30,000 for a mint condition model. But if
that same person would of invested their money at a conservative rate of 10%
for the same amount of period, they would have almost $90,000 in the bank.
So some one that put any the camera really lost $60,000 and they never to
used it.

Well im currently using what has become a rare M6.85 instead of putting it
away
