Jeff,
there is an early Leitz meter, of which I have a spoecimen and which
doesn't rely on batteries, and which was made to fit onto the screw series,
I'm not sure exactly what its called (Leicameter 2, just checked) but its
half the size of a box of matches, made by Metraphot and I'm sure Marc
commended it.
It will take an incident light opal filter and you'll need to check the
accuracy as it was made in 1954 ish... But that's the smallest baby you'll
get I'd have thought, delightful!

I think that a large light meter is contrary to the spirit of the compact
IIIf.

My ideal meter would be a meter the size of a small box of stick matches.
