Bob, 

The Canon LTM 50/1.4 takes 48mm filters and its original Canon hood was
'S-50'.  You can order a 48->49mm step-up ring from B & H for a few
dollars and use a generic 49mm metal screw-in hood.  Failing that my
craftsman can help you out, as he did for your EOS-R adaptor.
