But the only reason you want it is because it is rare.  If there were
thousands of them available, the desirability would most likely be far less
than what it is today.  Personally, I would much rather have a new 500SL.

If I could still buy a new or unused 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing,
I would buy it right away without even one second of hesitation.
