I hadn't thought of that combo before, but you're absolutely right - what a
heck of a piece of travel kit that setup would make!  The finder is right,
the effective baselength is plenty long enough for the modest aperture of
the Tri-E.  The more I think about it, the more perfect it seems.  It would
sure knock your average Stylus into a cocked hat.
