Hello Dan,

When you order an HCB print from Agathe Gaillard, his agent, she asks HCB's
printer (Daniel Mordac) to make it, then send it to HCB who dry-stamps and signs
it. This is a way to distinguish work or press prints from collection prints
(that are washed longer than others). As HCB accepts to sell only pictures that
had been published, you can say he approved it.

BTW, some times ago, the French magazine Match, sort of Life, published some
pictures from Theron's collection (one of the biggest private collection in the
world). I agree with you that none of these pictures was only slightly
appealing. It's the collector syndrome...
