Come on there are plenty of solutions to this simple problem

1, Use Sharpies Industrial Strenght _RED_ Ink Marker to make a red dot.
   This dot can then be,
   a, covered with black tape
b, covered with Sharpies Industrial Strenght _BLACK_ Ink Marker
c, washed off with single malt scotch and underwear

2, Use RED tape to make a red dot. This dot can then be removed by
   methods 1a and 1b.
