Lobos, Mendocino coast, Big Sur, redwood forests, the Sierra Nevada, my god... the list goes on forever. Full moon on the winter solstice will make any of these places even more delightful. I don't see any excuses in Mr. Schofields going to Yosemite. It is simply a beautiful place, close to us all (west coasters that is), and under an exceedingly bright full moon, a genuinely delightful place to be. Jim
