TriX Pro has a flatter shoulder, with less highlight separation, and a steeper mid-section, giving slightly less midtone separation. It was apparently developed for use with studio lighting by Kodak, for low flare, bright highlight situations. I, for one, find it very confusing that Kodak labels both films with essentially the same name, even though they are different.
