try a 2 min presoak when developing TMAX. Agitate for 10secs every 30sec
intervals. This has worked for me and most of the pink cast (these are dyes)
comes off during the presoak stage.

My negs are free from the pink cast problem when i added a presoak stage
before developing the negs.
