Can you tell me about it? >Steve >Annapolis steve, i'm not sure what mark will have to say about it, but i've been doing an informal test of films shot at 1600. so far i've tried fuji neopan and tri x pushed two stops. i definitely found that tri x pushed gave a broader range of grays than the fuji, which was *very* contrasty, so much so, in fact, that highlights that came out well with the tri x were blown out with fuji neopan. the films were both shot indoors in low light using my m6. the next film on my 1600 list is delta 3200, which, i'm told, is fantastic at 1600. in fact, i've just seen some delta 3200 negs shot by a friend at 1600 outdoors at midday in open shade (and i live in l.a., where the sky is BRIGHT) - they looked great! no blown highlights, just crisp, clear grays with nice brights and shadows. i've got three rolls of the stuff (mark, maybe that's why you can't find any!) and i'm looking forward to see how it'll hold it's own against tri x x 2... guy
