Hi Bob,

How much did they want for it?  Unfortunately I missed one and a body for
$800 Cdn.  One of those "Yankee tourists" ;):) who frequent our Island got
in the shop just ahead of me. :(

I've heard they can be adapted to fit a Leica. A few years ago a 0.95 was
adapted for shooting the candlelight scenes in the movie Tom Jones. Magical
moments of light. Beautiful.

I watched a rerun recently only to look at the candle lit and low light scenes.

There was discussion about this lens a few years ago on the LUG, might be
in the archives. It wasn't a challenge to the Noctilux, but it sure looked
beautiful in the movie. Not to say the Noctilux wouldn't create a similar
look wide open, as I've used mine in candlelight conditions and it's
incredibly ethereal.
