Really all I'm asking for is an electronic shutter, aperture priority, TTL flash metering and DX coding. Leave everything else the same. Continue to offer the M6. Heck, even bring out a non-metered M2-2 and make it a three camera line for all I care. It's just that I think an electronic shuttered camera would be very USEFUL (Notice I don't say anything about "saving the company"). Think of it like the old Nikon FM/FE or FM2/FE2 line. Similar cameras, one offers auto the other doesn't. Now, wouldn't that make EVERYBODY happy? Would someone please tell the Germans: Choice is GOOD.
