Subject: [Leica] Serial numbers for Leica lenses 1996-1999?

Can anyone tell me where I can find the serial numbers for Leica lenses for 
the period 1996-1999? In the book "Identifying Leica Cameras" by Ghester 
Sartorius copyright 1995 ISBN 0-8174-4026-7 the last serial number he lists 
is for the beginning of 1996. Any info on this will be appreciated.
