Subject: [Leica] Re: Help on Cable Release for Telyt

A few years ago I was looking for a similar item. Here's what I did. I
bought a long enough cable release to reach my M from the handle hole. Then
I went out to the garage and began serching for something of the correct
diameter to fit the hole in the handle, intending to drill it out to fit
the cable.

What I found was a Radio Shack 1/4 in female stereo line plug with a
pliable plastic jacket. The cable release slipped through the hole in the
plug and held firmly in place. The plug slide into the hole in the handle
and also fit tightly enough to stay put.

Problem solved.
