It totally depends on your taste, but I would assume you will like the 80 considering what you have posted in the past. The 80 is absolutely "soft" at f1.4 but changes its chatacter dramatically when you stop down. The image character at f2.8-4 is "sculpturesque" (still with some mildness) to my eyes and slightly differs from that of the 2/90 which is nonetheless an excellent lens for portrait. I have not used a 2.8/100, which would be the best one if you like pictures in which every detail of a subject is recorded. I do not think f2.8 is too slow.
