Subject: [Leica] Turning my K-Blues to Sunshine and Chrome advice requested

Well thanks to everyone who commented on my Kodachome processing dilemma
both on and off list. Apparently Kodak Canada subcontracts the pick-up and
distribution out and the problems are really with this company. I am not
quite sure as to which solution I will pursue as I still have some old film
stocks to use up first.
Any advice as to an E6 film that is similar to Kodachrome in tonal
response? I tried Velvia and all I can say is "Oh My G**!" I was given a few
demo rolls of E100VS and while flesh tones were OK, it still had the "colour
so eye-popping I had to squint" look to it. I have also shot a few rolls of
Provia and so far OK. I would appreciate any comments you might have to add
bearing in mind that my personal tastes run to the more "muted" Kodachrome
look. Imagine Paul Simon writing a song about Kodachrome now!
