Hi, The 1:2.8/28 G lens is also converted by Avenon Co. in Japan and sold
for about 98.000 yen.  You can also have your lens converted for about
50.000 yen (if my memory serves).  I have seen one, and it was well made.
The charge for the work required (installing a helicoid, cam, etc.) may be a
bargain.
