I took it in for repair and was told that it is not unusual, a spring in the winder mechanism gone awol apparently. I had it repaired and cla'd for £ 90.00 by Classic Camera in London and it is now smooth as silk. Jeremy Kime wrote: > > I had a mysterious problem a while back too.
