The tonal qualities of this lens are remarkable, and images from it seem to have a "massive" quality - wen things are right I get a sense of the objects I photograph, be they people or things, existing as real objects in real space. I've never experienced that with any other lens, though I think the new 90 APO may have it as well. All that and it's sooo good wide open... Paul Chefurka
