If it hasn't already been mentioned, the last page of Fortune (at least the
European edition) for the third week of February  (which normally features
historic photographs from the magazine of business interest)  has a full
page shot of a IIIC on its back done by Bill Noyer which appeared in the
July 1949 issue. The original caption was "An increasing segment of the
population is finally beginning to realize that a machine product can look
like a machine product and still be beautiful"
