Jaeger-Moser disappeared some years ago.
What a pity. Was a great store for Leica. I bought my first Leica here : a
R3.
I was told (but that's a rumor) that he was a gambler. He'd have lost his
store by playing the store at poker...that's an american story for Hollywood
!
IMO the truth is the following : he was a very bad manager.
He has still a huge slate uncleaned with Nikon-France.
BTW a Leica shop in Bourges is strange. There is no distribution area here.
Jaeger-Moser was a leica fan too.But, you know the "barman syndrom" : if you
like the cocktails you make, you don't sell them. You drink them.
