Subject: Re: [Leica] Leica Horror Stories

I had a Hasselblad 50mm CF/FLE fall about 4 feet to a concrete floor. I
had placed it on a piece of heating/ventilating equipment that was not
running and I didn't realize that when it turned on it would vibrate and
move the lens over the edge. Suffice it to say that the lens survived
althought the rear lens cap didn't. And after a trip to Brad at
Precision Camera it was officially pronounced 100%. Lesson learned:
Always put photo stuff back where it belongs before taking something
else out.
