Subject: Re: [Leica] Enlarging problems are not OT

I want to thank everyone who came to my aid with my out of focus enlarging
problem. I spent the day in the darkroom trying to see what the problem
really was. As an indication of how bothered I have been, it was sunny and
63 degrees (this doesn't happen often in Chicago in early March) and I was in
the dark. It turns out that it was the end of the negative strip being
unsupported by the glassless carrier. I feel kind of silly that I didn't
figure this out on my own, I've only been doing this for 35 years. Oh well,
I guess the easy things are sometimes the hardest to see. Tomorrow it's off
to buy a glass carrier, and convert it to a half glass carrier-thanks Mike
for that posting. Once again you guys are great!
