Just like the photo press never compares lens caps! :-)

You're absolutely right about the utterly outrageous price of Leica
ad-ons...But at least, when it comes to the lens caps, etc., Leica isn't
making any looney claims about how they will enhance your photographic
experience...as the cable manufacturers claim their cables will enhance your
listening experience....Me, I just make sure I have fresh batteries in my
hearing aids and say 'to hell with it.'

About as bad as $50 for a feaking piece of plastic with "Leica" on it!!!!
Or $100+ for a 55mm filter!!! Or, about as bad as ......

But I agree with you whole heartedly about high end audio cables!  Ever
notice how the Audio Press never attempts to do objective comparisons
between cables?
