Well, not to keep this OT thread going....But I disagree....It doesn't take
much in the way of comparison shooting to show the dif. between the $149
Pentax lens and the $2400 Leica lens...Yes, they can both take very nice
photographs. Yes, in the hands of good photographer the Pentax lens will
produce far more worthwhile, interesting images, than will the Leica lens in
the hand of an unskilled "photographer." However, it's not hard to see the
difference....Now....A $1000 Nikon or Canon lens and a $2400 Leica lens,
THAT gets a little tougher....;-)

I agree with you, but the same argument could be made when comparing an $149
Pentax lens with a $2495 leica version  (for the average person).
