Lenes for 35mm camera optics tend to resolve much better than the optics

designed for medium format.
But do they resolve 2.5 times better? I don't think so! It is a matter
of I
think of around 20 percent.
A 16x20 made from medium format system would be hard to bead from one
made from
a 35mm system.
This is a size where you can really more than start to see a difference.

At the same time this does not make prints this size and bigger from
35mm
unserviceable. They can be excellent.
Just don't stick them right next to one of the same scene taken with
Brownie
film like a stereo pair. You ARE going to see a difference.

Mark,
Don't look now, but we're AGREEING about this subject....

I would guess that's because of the 10,000 or so hours I logged in the
darkroom as a custom printer, and because you can probably beat even
that figure...?

It ain't theoretical in the dark....<g>
