Yes, the editor deserves some compensation for the wonderful work he has
contributed to each quarterly issue of the Viewfinder. The last few years' issues
have been remarkably interesting and varied in their presentation. However, there
is now an immediate concern: who is going to replace Roy, and will the quality of
the Viewfinder drop back to the old days when its total content was Barnack,
Barnack, Barnack/scremount,screwmount, screwmount? I am an M6 and an R8 user and
have very little interest in 30s and 40s Leica bodies and lenses. Please assure
me that is not going to happen!!!
