hi gary,
i use the SB 25 (it think its a bit similar to SB 28) with my M6 - it's
maybe not the best / most convenient flash for this camera, but it works
fine. no technical or functional problems.
but: the camera feels quite top-heavy with this item... (but i dont want
to buy an extra flash just for the leica, which i use mostly without
flash);
i use automatic setting on the flash, mostly with underexposure of one
aperture vallue for colour negs (i.e. flash setting f 4, camera setting f
5,6);
if there are any problems, than, when i forget to set the flash from TTL
(after use on my nikon F4) to automatic (overexposure occures, no picture
:-(.
very often i work also with manual flash setting (benefit: more
light-control in close focusing range, more flexibility with wide open
apertures).

regards,
