Here in Germany the TV news seem to show these pan shots _every_ time a couple of cameras record the same event. In the end, no, very soon, these shots get very boring even if you are interested in photo equipment like I am. These pictures demonstrate a real lack of imagination if shown as often as they are over here. They are even worse than close ups showing a hand writing down notes on a piece of paper, another local favorite. If they have to show their colleagues at work, I prefer shots of young beautiful female journalists with an intellectual air about them. But they are infrequent...
