We do over 30 weddings this year and everyone asked for B&W.
Potential customer tell us that many wedding photographer offer B&W prints
from negative film.
They also tell us that 'even they' can tell the difference between our real
B&W (we use Tmax 100 and 400 often pushed to 800) and prints from color
negatives.

If B&W is just a photo studio gimmick they did a really great job because we
certainly benefit from it.

Regards Jörg

Friends,

My good friends and I had strong black Expresso. With sufficient caffeine
in our bloodstream, we then spoke about everything photography. I said that
photography is coming round one full circle with good ol' B&W coming back
in vogue. We might even see labs take in your Tri-X for D&P. I am seeing
more wedding albums with a spread of monochrome in addition to colour. He
thinks it is just a sales gimmick by photo studios.

What is your opinion?
