That sounds pretty good. I worked without a 50 mm lens for years with SLRs,
but really appreciate the 50 on my M3.

Last summer I tried using a 28-40-90 combo, reasoning that the 40 would
replace both the 35 and the 50 (and save me lots of weight).
Unfortunately, reason led me astray (again).

I found myself thinking of the 40 as a 50 and then using the 28 as a 35.
That made just about everything a compromise (particularly since the 40 is a
lot closer to a 35 than to a 50).

50-90 and an occasional 35 seems almost ideal... Until you reach those
redwood trees...
