Hi all.
New to the list.

I come from the classic manual minolta side of the SLR fence and so it's
probably not surprising that I'm shooting with a Leica CL and a 40/2
Summicron and a 90/4 Elmar (SM with an adapter) currently. I am saving for
a black chrome M6 buy later this summer. An .85 model I think as I don't
wear glasses and the outside edge looks pretty much close enough to the
28mm frame to me to make the extra focusing accuracy worth it. I couldn't
give a care less about the TTL flash as WHEN I shoot with a flash, I use my
283/5s but I want the Leica's specifically for the low light capabilities.
Churches are too dark and unfortunately most Weddings still happen in
Churches and other dark places. I would just go with an older M3, but after
shooting for money since 1985 and always with used equipment, I want
something that no one has ever shot film through. I'm tired of compromising.

Anyhow, I live in Maine. (deeeep in the wood of Maine) but get to Boston a
few times a month. (Cambridge actually) Is there a separate list for Boston
LUG that I might be welcome join also? I want to learn all I can. (And yes
I think I will be at the show this weekend. I had a shoot planned, but the
weather looks like it might continue to be inclement so why not go to MA
and shop?)

Thanks.
