You might have one that a (hexagonal) allen driver fits but my socket is square, are there square allen drivers as well?
However, this topic did bring to my attention that my base is missing a screw on one side, so thanks!

The secret is that you have to turn it CLOCKWISE to remove it. It takes a #3
allen driver.
