Joseph,

I'm not sure the optical part of the VE 28-70/3.5-4.5
Current version (11364) was designed by Leica.
I thing it's still based on the Sigma design of the first version.

Is Kyocera still making all the zooms for Leica?
I heard that is not the case anymore, but didn't find any
other evidence.
