Present in that gathering was a VP (don't remember his name by now) from Germany, and Mr. Kuhne, the Slaes manager for the Asia region, the same gentlemen who replaced my faulty R8 more than a year ago. In his speech, the VP mentioned that some intersting new products will be introduced during the coming Photokina, but no details were given. He did , however, reported that Leica had introduced 9 new lenses in the past few years and that there are ten lenses currently under development in Solms. The new C1 P&S camera and a Leica LRF 800 rangemaster, a laser rangefinder were on display. BTW, the dinner was excellent :-)) MC Lau http://www.mir.com.my/mclau/
