Except that your analogy is invalid. IF photography
were simply the activity of making some calculations,
then it could be replaced with a program. It's not,
and unless I miss my guess, you'd be among the first
to howl if they tried. The fact is that there is more
to it than summing and getting "results"; that's a
mathematical term, strictly speaking.
