Far from it, I prefer Leica.  Just not sure enough of my own ability to go
fully manual on the SLR action/wildlife stuff.  The Nikon glass is an easy
way of producing very good results, rather than the more skilled way of
producing exceptional results.

I do use the F5 in manual, mirror lock-up mode for a lot of the wildlife
photography.  I would be interested to try an R8 for a week and see how I
get on.
