Subject: Re: [Leica] M4-P with M4-2 serial number?

This serial number is right in the last batch of M4-2s. Leica's serial
number lists are only a guide and there are lots of cameras not numbered
where they should be. Some six frame finder, hot-shoe equipped M4-P
prototypes show up in the M4 production runs with M4 cosmetics. It is also
very easy to switch serial numbers on the M4-2 and up cameras. So relax and
enjoy the camera and do not worry about the serial number stuff.
