Julian,

I use the 28mm finder, even with the M6 which has a built-in 28mm frame. I
wear eyeglasses and find the internal frame lines difficult, if not
impossible, to use. The external finder also has the advantage of being
extremely bright and I don't find it much of an inconvenience.
