Subject: [Leica] something useful

I can recommend Andrew Matheson's "The Leica/Leicaflex Way" 10th
edition. This book is a thorough user's guide to Leica cameras up to
and including the
Leicaflex SL. It is inexpensive and I have found it highly useful.

One of my favorite picture books is Bresson's A Propos de Paris. The
duotone
reproductions are a pleasure to look at and are always inspirational.

For another side of HCB read "Sextet" by John Malcolm Brinnin. Brinnin
accompanied HCB on a drive across America and his tale suggests the
reasons
why Bresson does not like to reveal too much of his private self.
