Nikon does have a 28/1.4 AF - and what a beast of a lens it is!
Personally, I'd go bananas over a 28 'cron, seeing as how 28mm has
become my favourite WA focal length again.

I suspect a 28/1.4 would block way too much of the VF, and for me the
joy of a 28 is having a fairly wide angle without having to resort to
an aux finder.

Bring on the 28 Summicron ASPH!
