If I remember correctly, this lens was designed for the projection
of Kodak Ektachrome of Kodachrome cardboard mounts. The field curvature
correction will of course help with other, plastic, mounts, but the result
may not be entirely satisfactory. E.g. Gepe glassless mounts have a metal
layer on each side of the slide, so the slide can stretch in the mount.
And become less\curved in the process.

Also, don't forget that, with a CF lens, the slide is really grossly out of
focus
before it pops!

IMHO, a normal lens and the use of mounts, like Gepe or Wess, with one
layer of glass of the side of the lamp, are preferable.
