In case it matters, my first camera was a Kodak 126 Instamatic when I was 12. When I was a kid I was fascinated by my father's Nicca (Leica copy.) It said "made in occupied Japan" as he purchased it when he was stationed in Japan in the early 50s. It had 35, 50, and 135 Nikkor lenses, and an add-on self-timer.
