Subject: [Leica] Aperture Priority M6+Leica Medium Format

What an interesting article that Rob has pointed to us!

Now, is it possible to build an aperture priority M6 with a cloth shutter?
(Probably not.) I wouldn't mind an AE M6, but I much prefer the silent
operation of a cloth shutter.

On the other hand, I think Leica is in the right direction to consider
medium format. Afterall, it's becoming harder and harder to sell the R8, a
camera which I really like, when a Contax 645 can produce vastly superior
images in a similar size and weight (if the R8 is equipped with a
motordrive). Afterall, many if not most buy a Leica for its image quality,
something that will be increasingly difficult to justify.

Regards,

Chris
