Subject: [Leica] LHSA M6 Question/Complaint

My check was cashed on 5/19 for a .85 model...I have sent numerous
emails to the parties at LHSA who are handling this as to when I can
expect delivery, with no answer.

I'm frustrated, as about two days after I sent the check, I could
have bought one from any Leica dealer for the same price, and gotten
a free membership into LHSA, instead of having to pay for that, too.
And of course to top it off, I could have had the thing the next day.
(I would have settled for a .72 if I could have had it immediately,
but when I mailed my check, the only way to get one was from LHSA. No
one bothered to say they could be purchased from a dealer.)

As it now stands, it's been two months since I mailed the check, with
nothing but a confirmation of my order (which alone took 6 weeks to
finally receive after repeated emails) but no word on delivery.

Several dealers have said that there will be more Special Editions
coming out of the factory but not until November....am I going to
have to wait seven months while someone is drawing interest on my
money? Or is there a chance that I will get mine sooner?

The numbers I've seen indicate orders total about 500 of the .72 and
225 of the .85. Does anyone know if this is how many have actually
shipped, or just how many orders have been taken?

Is anyone else still waiting on theirs? Anyone have similar
experiences with non-answers or no reply to email queries?
