None of the things you mention below effect the quality of the image made
with your Leica lens.

But the bottom line is, if you want to dip your camera in Never-Ready
cases, UV filters, black tape, and rubber strap connectors to make sure
nothing ever physically touches your Leica, that is completely and totally
your business. No one out here actually cares. But the folks who buy Leicas
and actually constantly exercise the shutter by taking photographs,  will
laugh.
