Actually, I never felt threatened in either Budapest or Prague.   We were
warned that there are some areas to watch out in Budapest.   No warning was
given for Prague.

I received my wallet back several weeks later form the consulate.
Everything was in it.   It originally had no cash which is apparently what
they are seeking.
