From this list I learned that the 24/2.8 Elmarit-R (one of which I own) is the badest doggiest Leica prime lens of the current R and M line ups. Apparently. However, mine seems alright, but then I can't compare it with the Elmarit-M 24/2.8 Aspherical, which is an absolute stunner. Apparently. So consistent is the praise for that lens, it's on my list of 'gotta-gets'.
